Hey.
Did anyone mention that the screen on new GS24U is bigger by size, compared to GS23U, BUT actually the working area of the screen is SMALLER and edges of the screen are way thicker!
It is smaller in hight by 0.5mm and in lenth by 1mm. It is approximate measure but it is very close!

What do you think?
Am I mistaken something or it is really true?

I visually see that it is smaller if I compare the phones side by side.
I consider it is a rip off!
Where are all those infinite screens announced by Samsung years ago?

I call it nitpicking at this point

When you pay that amount of money, you expect an upgrade, not a downgrade.

Sure, if YOU consider that a downgrade. I haven't seen anyone complain about the .5mm difference. I went from the S23U to the S24U and as great as the S23U is, I don't consider the S24U a downgrade at all.

Just this flat screen with thick edges reminds me about my older Samsung note 5. When you use S23U and S24U side by side, it is very noticeable.
But after using S24U alone, for a day or two, you get used to that.
Hopefully next Ultra will have infinite screen πŸ˜‰.

The only reason why the S24 Ultra seems like it has more bezel is because the screen is flat.

The exact reason why so many brands went with curved screens before was exactly to give the illusion that there's less borders since the screen wraps around backwards a bit.

You should have done more research or went to a carrier/store to see the models before purchasing.

Complaining about a 1mm is just crazy.

To many, it's an upgrade for better screen protectors and better use for the S pen.

In my understanding, you admit that the actual displplay of S24U is smaller, by visually working area of GS23U?
But it's ok, just because it's flat?
