Galaxy SI recently got a standard s23 US model and i wanted to set up Samsung Wallet. I opened the app and allowed the permissions and then it popped up "Can't use Samsung Pay. Samsung Pay isn't supported on your phone." This shouldn't happen as the app is supported in the US and is also a US model phone. Why is this showing up and how would I get around this?

Galaxy SI posted it in two different forums because I didn't realize that Samsung Wallet had a separate forum, also I do not see the forum you are talking about.

Galaxy SHi etisen, since your device is a US model, we kindly ask you to also post your question in Samsung Members Community US to receive better support. Samsung Members Community Canada can only provide support for Canadian models.
However, you may also try resetting the Samsung Pay app. Go to 'Settings', 'Apps', and search for 'Samsung Wallet', 'Storage', and click 'Clear data'.
