I just recently got a Samsung s23+
I noticed after the recent update that the selfie camera is automatically doing this HORRIBLE post processing that I can't seem to stop or undo at all. Completely changed the shape ofy face and features, etc. I tried using some other camera apps but they're really not as good as the native camera app. None of the settings on camera nor camera assistant change this whatsoever.

Anyone else having the same issue/know how to fix this?

You can try a few things:

  • Open the Camera & go to IT'S Settings & Scroll down to "Reset Camera Settings.
  • Go to Settings > Apps & Search for the Camera & Click on it & Scroll down to Storage. Clear Both Cache & Data for the Camera & Reboot.
  • Boot into Recovery & Wipe Cache.

See if that fixes the issue for you.
