Set a reminder "when I leave this location"

Apple had thus technology YEARS ago when I had an Apple phone.  I could tell Siri "remind me to buy laundry soap when I leave this location".  Once I was 2 kms away from work (location I was leaving) I'd get a reminder to buy soap (or whatever).  It was super convenient.  I was really hoping Samsung would also have this ability but it doesn't seem possible.

I can only set reminders through Google to remind me of something when I ARRIVE somewhere.... not as convenient. 

Anyway, hoping Samsung can get this up and running!!

Have you tried using the reminders app from Samsung?

I've used it in the past - didn't think to check that one for the location reminders. However when I tell Bixby to set a reminder when I leave "this location" she doesn't understand, which is what I loved about Siri.

I haven't tried it, but Google Assistant might be able to do what Siri did?

Hi, can you check for the app updates? Also, can you confirm if your reminder app is synced with Samsung cloud?

@AshleighR I have been using Bixby Routines to do exactly that for a long time now, do you use that feature at all?

I speak to Bixby and ask it to do things but it doesn't seem to do this... are "routines" something I need to add or download?

Depends on which device you have, you can find Bixby Routines on the quick panel drop down menu or in settings

Use Bixby Routine suggested by Gemini, you do not need to speak it out. It runs your request in background. Try it out. 🙂
