Smart View Developer Option Missing

I used to be able to cast my PC's screen onto my phone wirelessly with the developer option in Smart View (tapping continuously on version).

Now I no longer can do that. I am not sure which update caused this. But does anyone have a work around?

You want to see your computer's screen on your phone, not the other way around?

That is correct. That used to happen.

They removed the smart view developer option somewhere around August or September, at least that's the last time I could access them. But I think it was predictable, because since they were locked behind I password, I don't think the settings were intended for regular use (maybe they were buggy)

Oh okay thanks for the update. I didn't mind using it at all to be honest. Yea there were a couple of issues but as you said it wasn't intended for regular use. But I liked the option of using my $1500+ phone as a secondary monitor.
