static noise during a phone call

When I'm using my AKG earbuds or not, I can listen a little static.
Is this a software issue?

I have not experienced this, which carrier are you with? Could be a network issue.
Reach out to your provider and see if they have any feedback.

Well the phone call is on WhatsApp, so I'm using my wifi... I have to say that I do the same phone call in my iPad or my last device (samsung s5) and I had no any issue

it could be what's app issue with it fully not updated to the new S8

WhatsApp seems fine on my S8....
I would probably say give your carrier a call to try and troubleshoot.

Hey @Kunoichikirika, you can troubleshoot the physical microphone quality in the Members diagnostics screen by going to Diagnostics > Mic. If the sound quality sounds bad in this screen, you will need to visit a service center for repair. If it sounds good, there is likely issues with the Whatsapp application/connection. -Nick

i am having the same issue when Im listenung to music with any type of earphones i use, akg, iphone's earbuds and monster beats they all give static and crackling sound and feel like d headsets are about to burst in my ears. I contacted samsung and all they told me is to di a factory reset have done 3 factory during this month to no avail. What else can I do?

So annoyed by the phone. First they changed the motherboard for a literally new phone as I was having issues with my camera and freezing issues and now its the static. What else?

That is certainly my cue to go with iphone henceforth
