Superfast charging S22 Ultra - odd ?

A while back I posted that my Superfast charging stopped working. I had tested with numerous chargers and 5amp cables, including the Samsung charger and cable. All of these chargers and cables work perfectly fine with my wife's S22 Ultra (that had not been updated since I noted my charging issues).

Thinking that I have a defective USB charging port.

Here is the kicker. I can make it work for about 20 seconds. By fluke, I connected my phone to my wife's supercharger and cable after taking my phone off my samsung wireless charging pad. I saw the turquoise charging ring. I tried the same sequence about 30 mins later and quickly turned off my display and it showed superchargering for about 20 seconds.

I can repeat the process over and over and get the superchargers to work for about 20 seconds and then there is zero charging.

Do I have a defective port ?

I can still fast charge and wireless charging works well. I travel with a wireless battery charger to get the fastest charge.

Just annoyed at not having superfast charging.

Thanks for any thoughts.

Open the Samsung Members app & Click on "Support" & Phone Diagnostics. Run the Diagnostics for "Cable Charging". It will show you whether or not it is Super Fast Charging.

With a recent update, it does not show the persistent Super Fast Charging the way it used to.

Hey RDR, thank you for the suggestion. This AM, I performed your test after the phone being on the samsung wireless charger. Started up the cable charging and plugged in the 100w cable with led status. Supercharging was working and the green led on the cable stayed solid for almost 1 minute with the odd led flicker. After the 1 minute, led started to rapidly flicker (as it does when supercharger gets not working) and the phone stopped charging altogether...
Great test. Best supercharge time.. 1 min 😉
Will test this again.

I regularly clear the cache for the system.

Any other thoughts? Is the port pooched ?

Thank you for taking the time to respond and your awesome suggestion for the test ....

If I understand correctly, the USB cable you are using has an led indicator on it?

If that's the case, it's possible that the cable's led, is giving an inaccurate reading.

I'd go with what you see on the phone itself.

When the led is rapidly blinking.. I get zero charging... I get fast charging from a 5amp cable and
A 3amp charging port..getting g 2825mA.. says the rate of charging is 65% per hour. Again, just annoyed that super charging is not working. Is there a wireless solution for super charging ?
