Tab S6 QR code wants to do a cmc://setting change to my S8 to establish a "call and text of other device."  How do I accomplish this.

I have a Samsung S8+ and a Samsung Galaxy Tab A7.
1) No switch to Toggle on the phone
2) a QR pops up on tablet but camera just keeps creating a text message.

I have a galaxy fold 2 and a Samsung galaxy tab so with the same issue described it comes right up on my tablet my phone no longer has the setting to enable call and text on other devices

I have a motoe6 which also does not have the on/off function.  Any way I can connect it to my galaxy tabA7?

I have S7.   I do not see "Call & Text on Other Devices" anywhere in the phone's Advanced Features, so I cannot find this toggle to enable it.

How can I link my tablet to my phone, to be able to send/receive texts?

i have the same problem, tablet qr  code opens notrs and s8+ does not have the calling on other devices in advanced features. help

I am having the same problem. This thread states "resolved" yet I am not seeing any helpful instructions.
