Tab S6 QR code wants to do a cmc://setting change to my S8 to establish a "call and text of other device."  How do I accomplish this.

Hello I am trying to connect my phone to my new table for the call and text but it keeps sending me to this website.

In tennessee ultimately I get an out of service area for this option. 

Alternatively one can use Verizon message plus then enable calling and  call and text with that app.

A solution as of May 2022 Verizon has removed the ability to connect through call or text on other devices from their end. A new user put the solution on page 4 of comments,

On your other device, download the Verizon message plus app and because your other device does not already have its own phone number, it will offer a link to your phone and a call & text on other devices option.
