Galaxy S- No true vivid mode. Screen colors look dull and faded.
- The phone does not reach the 2000 nits of brightness.
- The camera is not better than the S23 Ultra.

Galaxy S- By chip u mean snap gen3? I thought all ultras have it.
What I've noticed in comparison to s23 ultra (which I'm super sad but already sold, it was awesome) the swiping feels different. Now swipes need more space. On s23 ultra I was doing super small swipes like 0,5cm and it swiped between screens super fast. And here I need to stretch my finger from one side to another and animation is stuttering (I tried adjusting speed in dev options, didn't help).
So ye, hopefully software, but intuition tells it's some screen issue, idk
And ofc I'm using 120hs rate, much worse than s23 ultra

Galaxy SI'm from the US, and I'm having the same issue. I didn't find a more populated post than this one, so I'm commenting here.
For basic reference, I have the same issue: scroll lag, slow interactions, and a ton of lag and crashes in games. I have already done everything I could, turning RAM Plus on and off, wiping the cache, optimizing, installing the two updates, and lastly, factory resetting.
I have also spoken with two different customer support agents from Samsung Care. One told me to go to an authorized center, which I did, and they told me there's nothing to do about it. The other one guided me through some steps that didn't work either and just told me to wait for the update, which was issued 3 days ago and nothing. My old Galaxy Note 10+ never had this kind of issues.
It's a very annoying issue and a daily reminder that the phone is not giving 100% and that it doesn't justify what I paid for.

Galaxy SI will say, after the update it's been marginally better. But, I have noticed any app, thay has many graphics and requires scroll are impacted. Reddit, Google discover, Google maps, Linkedin, Twitter or X, etc...
Thank you for sharing your detailed experience. I hope that @Samsung is monitoring this thread.

Galaxy SI deleted my yesterday comments not to spread misleading info. Unfortunately have same stuttering screen today, so steps i did with good lock and vision core didnt help 😓
What was the reason for a temporary improvement is still a mystery 🤦

Galaxy SThings that you might try:
Booting into Recovery & Wiping Cache.
Check to see if you have any apps running non stop. If you do, go to Settings > Apps & Check to see if they are "Optimized" or "Unrestricted".
Check to see if you have any apps that aren't designed for Android 14.
There's only been a few people here, who have posted about this, so I don't know if it's an actual issue with the device, or something unique to those people? ie: Settings / Apps etc.

Galaxy SI did everything except for factory reset (however some ppl did it too and it didnt help).
With fps on, it never goes less than 120hz when swiping, however animation is lagging and stuttering 😮💨
Im not even talking about apps, just One UI.
If im doing swipe and DONT remove finger in the end of the gesture from the screen than its like butter all the time when finger is touching screen. real 120hz.
So it looks like some trouble with swipe registering, like after the swipe when u remove finger from the screen it registering few touches in that area that create stuttering.
OR another thing possible - when u remove finger screen switches to 24hz instantly not giving animation a chance to end up smoothly.
I also did screen test in device maintenance and all sectors are working, so it says screen is fine.

Galaxy SHey guys, found a solution that actually helped me.
Go to settings, apps, 3 dots right top, and 3rd option would be like delete all settings. It will remove all permissions from all your apps. Than just use phone normally and give permissions only when u use some app.
My guess is some samsung app causes this lag! They had same bug with keybord draining battery with s23 ultra on start! Not a suprise when new os size is 50gb🤮
Check it, should help against ui stutters, at least its now same lvl as 23u that i used b4
