Galaxy S- No true vivid mode. Screen colors look dull and faded.
- The phone does not reach the 2000 nits of brightness.
- The camera is not better than the S23 Ultra.

Galaxy SAlso one thing that I noticed on both my phone and the retail one, is that if you set the motion smoothness to standard (the default seem to be adaptive), the lag is incredible visible, to the point where the phone in my opinion is unusable.

Galaxy SYes, using it in standard, is absolutely the worst experience, which seems incredible to me. All these to me indicate a problem with the screen refresh software.

Galaxy STo be honest, the only reason I went to see the retail one, in the store, after having seen the issues on mine, was just to see if it was worth to try to return the phone, and get another one, but after seeing the same issues on the retail one, I understood I might get the same thing while also having the overhead of configuring a new phone again. So my hope was that these issues would eventually be acknowledged by Samsung and addressed in an update.
Probably if this won't happen soon, I will try to use the warranty claim, or just sell the phone and buy something else maybe from a different brand. I would not like that, since I enjoy what the phone offers on paper, but, to be seen.

Galaxy SI also have this issue.. very upset with the purchase, I moved from s23 ultra yet it's been a downgrade so far.
Processor is better? OK but games lag much more than on 23 ultra.
UI 6,1 smooth like butter? OK, but phone lags even in menu. Stuttering everywhere.
I did wipe cash partition, tried different things, yet it's just trash, only good on paper. Ssuuuuuupeeeer upset to waste money on that brick. Even selling this phone is cursed bc I'll have to lie "it's a good phone I just don't like it"😡😡😡

Galaxy SThis is the Canadian Samsung Members. Your device doesn't even have the same Chip. So any issues with Lag etc aren't relevant to the Canadian / North American devices.
