Terrible scrolling lag in S24 ultra

The Samsung S24 Ultra has terrible scrolling lag.

Google Discover and News Feed have terrible lag.

But so do some apps and websites.

There is even animation lag when using the multitasking amd switching between apps, with stuttering. 

I thought one ui 6.1 was the smoothest?

This was never an issue on my iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Not to mention the launch day issues of:

• No true vivid mode. Screen colors look dull and faded.
• The phone does not reach the 2000 nits of brightness.
• The camera is not better than the S23 Ultra.

I can look over all of that, but I cannot tolerate the scroll lag.

Maybe everyone who purchased the S24 series, and is complaining about lag, should just Return / Sell them..?

Not really. As consumers we could at least expect a phone which costs way more than 1000$ to work properly, don't you agree? And since this is a forum to talk about Samung's products and solutions...then this is precisely what we do 😉!

I am using S24+ with Exynos and I am facing the same issues with lag in scrolling and other things such as loading WhatsApp image etc. I thought it's due to the Exynos chip or due to some power saving settings I am using but clearly it's not the case and the issue is wide spread.

The lag is really terrible in apps such as Twitter, reddit, YouTube and various shopping apps etc. 

Samsung needs to acknowledge this issue and push the update ASAP.

Thanks for your feedback. These issues are not relegated solely to the S24 Ultra. I got my mom the S24, and the same issues occurred on her S24.

Every example counts.

Has anyone found ANY Solution to this issue? 

We're all waiting anxiously! It's very annyoying to use especially on new flagship phone S24 Ultra!

Hi ziom, considering that multiple users are reporting the same issue, we will communicate this to the relevant team. Usually, we would suggest clearing the cache of the app you are using or the browser, but if the lag still occurs, we hope that the next software update will fix it.
