Does anyone know why some text message when sent are in a green bubble and others are sometimes in a blue bubble?

Also why does the green bubble text message tell you when the text message is delivered and read, and the blue bubble text doesn't?

I do. So are saying because of the theme, the green is actually blue and the blue is actually green? I didn't take that into consideration. Oh boy!

There is a possibility. Bell Advanced Messaging is using Green bubble and SMS using blue. Are you with Bell?

I guess is carrier dependent or device dependent. RCS is pretty new and it is not standardize yet. But as long as you see the delivered or read, you are using RCS or Advanced message.

🤔... Interesting!
(I've been wondering why I receive (colourless tho-I'm Android) only 2 of my contacts send a 'status' message to me (NOT always 'timely' either! Sometimes, it's a week later, for example! 😮).

Hi Redonje, it depends on the carrier as informed by Tallman.

It use to say "Delivered" and the "read" when I texted my kids and the texts themselves turned from blue to green. It is not doing this now. Is there a reason?
