Can I remove the last update. Done Monday morning and phone hasn't worked properly since. Dropped calls, no mobile network, no data texts don't send or received. Paralyzed here.

You can't just "roll back" to a previous version, and if there has been a Bootloader version update, then it's impossible anyway.

Start with Booting into Recovery & Wipe Cache.

Instructions on how to Wipe Cache:

1) Turn off the device.

2) Press and hold the Volume Up key and the spower button.

3) When the Android logo displays, release all keys.

4) Press the Volume down key to navigate and select "Wipe cache partition".

5) Press Power key to select. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Select Reboot System.

6) Press the Power key to restart the device.

Well the repair didn't last long. No data or phone all day today. This is 6 days now. I'm ready to through this $1400. Phone away.

Rather than throw it away, there's two other things that I would do first:

  • Backup your device with Smart Switch & Factory Reset. That SHOULD resolve all your issues.

If not:

  • Visit a Samsung Service Centre to get it checked out by a tech.

Back up? I thought that was to transfer onfo from one phone to another. Should I use my last phone? I still have it.

No, I wouldn't use a previous phone to backup / Restore.

I backup my current phone weekly using Smart Switch.

The purpose of this, is should I need to Factory Reset, I can restore my current device's apps, downloads etc.
