I have the most annoying thing ever happening to me right now. I have a notification in my status bar for a voicemail that won't go away. I have checked several times for voicemail and deleted any saved voicemail. Reset my network settings. Restarted my phone. I've done everything I can think of but the notification won't go away. It's just there. And it's driving me crazy. I need some help. Please. Help. Me. I need it gone. It's like the shining. Slowly driving me insane to the point where I may actually switch to an iPhone (okay not really. Nothing would make me do that) but it feels like it. Anything anyone can think of I will try. Oh and I'm running an s22 ultra on ui 5.1 with Rogers if that makes a difference. Thanks in advance.

The VM Notification is coming from your Carrier.

Since you checked your VM, it should be gone. As it is still there, I'd contact your Carrier & ask them to clear it for you.

It happened to me a long time ago and i solved it by leaving myself a voicemail and then deleted it. Worth a try.

Will try it out. Thank you. But I've had someone leave a voicemail while it was still ongoing and I listened to it and deleted it and it's still there. I'm ripping my hair out over here.

You can always clear your data in your phone app storage before you run out of hair.

🤣 but wouldn't that erase my numbers and shut?

It might erase your call log but not your contacts

It happens on my phone too, and the notification will only go away when I call/check my voicemail by clicking on the notification/dialing directly from the voicemail notification.  If I use my dialpad to press "1" for voicemail, the notification won't go away.  I'm with Fido

I'm with Rogers & Long Pressing "1" and checking has always cleared the Notification for me.

Either there's a message still in the system, or Contact your Carrier to ask them to clear it.
