Hi, we would like to inform you that Samsung wallet is country specific on the basis of the phone's country-specific code (CSC).

For Samsung wallet to work the phone CSC and the Samsung wallet account must be from the same country.

Please check your card issuer’s policies for transactions in foreign countries. If you can use your card in the country you are travelling to, you should be able to use Samsung wallet to make a payment.

Thank you for the reply. If I got it correctly, I need to get a credit card from UAE to add on Samsung Wallet? But if I'm not a resident of UAE, how can I proceed?

You could likely use Google Wallet instead since I have read it doesn't have these limitations that Samsung Wallet requires.

Thank you. Google Wallet is also restricted on S24, as Samsung privileged Samsung wallet.

Samsung Wallet might be privileged but I just added a credit card to Google wallet on my S24 unless there are restrictions I am not seeing since my phone is purchased in Canada

I am given the choice of which one I want to go to by default

Yeah @Ramgoolam is on an UAE region-purchased S24 .. .and by that the specific CSC for that location has certain laws and restrictions - thus affecting a Canadian card to be added. I think Google Wallet - by the devices CSC also follows and respects the same restrictions.

Google wallet doesn't ask for you to enter a zip code which is a problem with devices that only accept numbers when registering a card so I was hoping this might get around Samsung requirement to do this and let them use Canadian cards on non Canadian device

How does a ZIp Code (USA used ONLY btw) even circumvent anything to do with an international REGION locked device for said services?!

You already stated you have a Canadian purchased Galxy S device (like me) so neither of us can offer an proper and working solution to our OG. WHta we're experiencing will be complete different from our OG of this thread. ;)

Totally agree we cannot reproduce their problem on our Canadian devices.
What I am saying is if you have a international device setting up a card on Samsung pay requires you to enter an all number zip code whereas Canada has letters in the zip code and you can't enter letters to register your card on international device
Google pay doesn't require zip code so I was hoping it would get around the problem for them but not having their device I couldn't test it
