Why slow downloads to SD card but not to internal storage?

Has anyone run into an issue with very slow downloads when saving to an external SD card while downloading to internal storage has normal high speeds? I tried formatting the card in Windows just to see if it makes any difference but it does not. Any suggestions?

Downloading to the internal storage will almost always be faster, than to the external sd card, but it also depends on the specs of the external sd card that you are using.

Hi, I have same problem. SD write speed is about 15MB/s on my S20 SM-980F. But on my old S7 SM-G930F it runs about 80MB/s.

Nobody cares about this issue and I am almost desided to push back this S20 model to Samsung.

Disappointment to me, because I had heave almost all models S4, S5, S7, S8, S10, S20. Maybe will be better to buy some China mobile!

We don't have the "F" or Exynos here on most of our Canadian devices.

You might want to post on the International Samsung Members / UK etc.

We request you to check with your country Samsung support because the models which you are referring to are not Canadian devices.
