Wi-Fi calling
After updating one UI 6 in Canada Samsung S23Ultra. Wi-Fi calling not working as suppose to be. I have update wifi calling setting with my provider for make sure all up-to-date 911 information. Turn off and on the toggle, but still not working Wifi calling feature. Keep in note I have very high speed internet with wifi 6. Any solution for this ?

if you're still having problems, tried everything else, and you don't have your location on try turning it on and then toggle the off/on switch for wifi-calling. it worked me for and another user.

thought I'd share. mine wasn't working also. tried what everyone was saying. I turned wifi on and off, restarted the phone, turned airplane mode on/off, etc. none of it worked. didn't want to reset network settings and decided to just try figure it out later. Now, usually my location is always off but I randomly decided to turn it on, toggled the wifi calling off and on and boom, it works. worth a try, maybe it'll work for you too

i can't keep my location on all the time as it consumes battery, any other lead would be appreciated

Hey thanks! That seems be a workaround, though not a fix.

I turned Location on, toggled WiFi calling off and on again, and it worked.

As an experiment, I turned location off, and it still appeared to be working (icon stayed in place).

As soon as I rebooted my phone with Location off, however, it stopped working.

As @Jaskaran_Bajwa stated, this is still a problem; I never used to need Location turned on for it to work; I keep Location turned off most of the time both for battery life as well as privacy. So this issue is definitely a software problem, and still needs to be addressed by Samsung.

I am having the same issue with my S23 Ultra. WiFi calling worked before the UI 6 update. It stopped working after the UI 6 update. It appears to be toggled on, and calling over WiFi is set as preferred, but the little icon with the phone over the WiFi bars does not appear, and I am unable to receive inbound nor initiate outbound calls.

I tried toggling WiFi calling off, rebooted, toggled it back on and rebooted again. Didn't work.

I reset my WiFi and Bluetooth settings, and rebooted the phone. No luck.

I reset my network settings and rebooted the phone. Still didn't work.

I disabled and then re-enabled the WiFi calling option with my service provider. I confirmed that my emergency address was still correct. Rebooted again. No change.

I cleared the cache partition and rebooted again. No go.

I toggled WiFi calling off and on again, rebooting between toggles. Still nothing.

I live in a remote rural location, so no licensed Samsung technicians within a 4-hour drive. As stated by others, though, I am pretty sure this is a software issue, not a hardware problem, since WiFi calling worked pre-update but not post-update, and I didn't go anywhere or drop my phone or anything. I just did the UI 6 update, and it stopped working.

Please advise!

You might have to wait for ui6.1. Mine is still not working. S23ultra
