Full Screen Caller

I want to put a photo in the contact, but Samsung does not give me this option. Before it was very simple to do. Samsung has also removed the Full Screen Caller option when someone calls you. The iPhone has this option.

It sounds like you're asking about two different things? 

• Full Screen Caller Image? 
• Contact Photo? 

If it's Full Screen Caller Image, it's Dialer Settings > Call Display While Using Apps.

 

If it's your Contacts you want > Open your Contacts > Select the one you want & Click Edit and choose from your Gallery.

 

At least, that's what I think you are asking?

I did as you instructed, but again Screen caller image is small. When I said Full Screen caller image, I meant that it would occupy half of the screen, while this is a thumbnail image of the caller

Earlier to select contact picture, samsung had "set as" option, but now it doesn't exist as an option. With that option it was easier, while now you have to open the contact - click edit and search for 1 photo among the thousands of photos I may have to find the photo I want. The search option has also been removed to find the photo more quickly.

I don't use Samsung's Gallery, and the option for me to set any photo as a Contact Photo is still there. 

The screen shot is using QuickPic Mod (not to be confused with QuickPic on the Play Store!).

The option is also still there using F-Stop Gallery, which is the one from the Play Store.

why should we use third party programs for an option that Samsung had and removed ...

I don't use Samsung's Gallery anyway. 

Dollars to donuts, you've already got a pile of 3rd party apps installed on your device. 

I'm suggesting two solutions that will do what you want to do. 

The end result is all that matters.. right?

When we will get this option..
It's a basic feature every other brand has.. why not samsung having this feature

Even with the latest software, it was not possible to have full screen caller id again. Samsung is disappointing us..
