Hi, I realise that there are some other posts on this, however i want to reopen the conversation. 

 

I bought - and set up - my phone in Australia, however i am from the United Kingdom. I would like to change "Region/Country". 

 

Can someone (perhaps from Samsung) answer, can this be changed?

When i try to change the "Region/Country", it is greyed out.

You would need to contact Samung directly to change cointry/region.

Most of the current Samsung Moderators seem to be unaware that this CAN be changed - They have repeatedly said that it's not possible - BUT It HAS been done successfully by previous Samsung Moderators - See the screen shot.

hi.. as per the moderator that time i was instructed that the only way to change region is by changing the firmware of the device, which @CHMultimedia told me that's its risky as the firmware of other region might not be compatible to the device's hardware..

Hi @ONicholls,

I am sorry to say that the option to change the country is not available. However, you can create a new Samsung account with a different email address.

Nothing surprises me anymore. Although there was hope when they finally started to acknowledge that it is possible to rollback under certain circumstances...
