Gallery Photos - delete on phone only

How do I delete my gallery photos from my phone only and not on all synced devices?

There are 2 ways to delete photos from the phone only:
1) press and hold the photo you want to delete until you see a check mark in a white circle in the top left of the photo and tap the "delete" at the bottom if the screen.
2) if you want to delete everything, tap the 3 dots in top right corner of the screen, tap edit, tap the circle beside the date, tap "delete all" and that will delete all the photos.
I have deleted photos from my S21 Ultra gallery so many times. This is guaranteed to work.

Thanks I know how to delete. That's not the issue. I don't want them to delete off all my synced devices. Just my phone. See pic for example. I don't see a setting feature to fix this.

@Talya - Are you using Samsung account to sync your Gallery to other devices? Or using other services, like Google Photos to sync your Gallery?

I believe I'm using Samsung account. I was using something else and it switched recently and messed up and now I don't know how to fix it.

Are you able to tell us more details? What were you using and what you have switch to?

I made this change. I believe I'm still using Samsung account. Since the change all my deleted photos deletes on my phone and synced devices. I don't want this. I just want them to be deleted from my phone only.

The change also brought pictures from my cloud to my phone. I want to free up space and delete them but if I do it's also deleting from my cloud on my other synced devices. I don't want this. I just want it to go back to how it was 😪

I have the same problem. I sync to OneDrive. I've had to go to OneDrive and move/copy the pictures to another folder before I delete them from the phone.
