Below is a screenshot of 4 hours screen on time on my s7 flat. I was previously having battery drain issues. if you want to triple your battery life, and then some, follow these steps below.

1. A fresh start. Reset your phone. I know it sounds like a pain but it's really not. First, look through your apps and find ones you don't use and uninstall them. Once done cleaning up your apps. Go into settings and back up everything to Samsung cloud or use whatever software you would use to backup and restore. Simply reset your phone

2. Keep the screen resolution off of max resolution. I have mine at FHD and didn't even know it was on since it's on by default when resetting your phone. I can't really tell the difference between FHD and WQHD.

3. Although always on display is a very useful feature, turn it off. I'm not sure how much battery this saves but I have this turned off.

4. Disable packages you don't use. You can use package disabler to disable packages you don't use. You can find it in the Play store but use with caution with what you disable.

5. Disable location, NFC, etc you know the drill by now

6. Get yourself a battery saving up. I use Kaspersky Battery saving. Don't get any other of those gimmick apps. This app simply force stops apps you're not using and stops apps from running in the background. You can whitelist apps such as Google Play Music and etc so it doesn't stop your music

That's all I have. comment your battery saving tips below a454cfa4-4fbb-47e8-a409-0d68143e1cdf.jpg

Changing resolution only improves battery runtimes in GPU-heavy scenarios, including games. So this does not really improves battery runtimes.

AOD only uses about 1%/hour, for anyone wondering about it

Battery saving features are included in Device Manager, but a more agressive function should be implemented indeed
