Keyboard Not Connected

Hi all. Any suggestions on how to connect a physical keyboard for a Samsung S22+ Galaxy Smartphone? Is this even applicable to my Samsung S22+ Smartphone? Thanks in advance.

You can connect a physical keyboard to your Samsung Galaxy S22+! The device supports a variety of input methods, including physical keyboards, via both wired and wireless connections.

The Samsung Galaxy S22+ has a USB-C port, so you'll need an adapter or a keyboard that supports USB-C directly.

1. Get a USB-C to USB-A adapter (if your keyboard uses a standard USB-A connector) or use a USB-C keyboard.
2. Plug the keyboard into the adapter and connect it to your phone's USB-C port.
3. The phone should automatically detect the keyboard, and you can start typing immediately.

You may need to grant the keyboard permissions in Settings > General Management > Physical keyboard.

This is the most convenient option, as it avoids cables.

1. Turn on the Bluetooth keyboard and put it into pairing mode (check your keyboard’s manual for instructions).
2. On your phone, go to Settings > Connections > Bluetooth.
3. Turn on Bluetooth and wait for your phone to detect the keyboard.
4. Select the keyboard from the list of available devices.
