I think it would be awesome to have a live chat in this app. It would be a nice place to just have general conversations and for events like Unpacked it would be cool to have that social experience to enjoy the show with fellow members of this group! And then in addition have private messages and such as requested before in another users post.
I'd pitch making a Discord but I enjoy that Samsung can see what we discuss here so they can use it as feedback.
Or maybe @nick can open private Facebook page for Samsung Members Canada with invites only to samsung members who wish to join. I think that would be easiest, fast and possible way to connect with our community.
It's so easy solution that it can be started in 10mins and there are all the features like calling messages photos live videos and more. Available to everyone.
Yeah and that would mean it could actually be ready for the Unpacked Event. The user who gets to go could also post there to share the adventure with everyone very easily.
Good suggestion @Jmak, however, this would have to be a new initiative that gets approved by management at Samsung before I can do anything. Members on the forum, however, are welcome to start an unofficial page and share the link.
