OthersAs mentioned this is a very simple and safe solution that's well worth trying, but feel free to take appropriate action and delete this post if needed.
IPA dries very fast and is also a hospital grade cleaner, I have used a lot of cleaning chemicals and also solvents in my life and have a strong knowledge on what to use and what not to use.
Hope this helps others with a simple and safe method without cost or inconvenience.

OthersI would guess that dust on the charging port contacts produces the same message as water would.
Make sure the hair dryer is on a low heat setting.
Thanks for reaching out and adding good advice to this post 😊

OthersIf there is any actual moisture, then I would use a baggy of UNCOOKED rice & leave the device in a baggy half filled with the rice, overnight.

OthersIf the initial moisture issue is resolved, then it would be a good idea to use some compressed air to blow out any dust.
Good thinking - Thanks 👍🏻
