Wow, I see so many comments from One UI 6 uodate. That's lagging, apps closing by itself. Wifi doesn't work. Don't know now if I want to update to One UI 6 😳

I have 0 issue with OneUI 6. I only did wipe cache partition right after update. Wi-Fi, performance, icons...all works fine on my S23U.

The look of OneUI6, like where they put the 3 dots in new location, not showing wifi speed like before, that is personal preference.

How did you wiped cache?
From battery and storage?

Wiping cache partition is done in recovery mode.

Turn your phone completely off, then press and hold power and volume up button until you enter recovery mode. Once in recovery mode, press volume down button until you highlight wipe cache partition, then press power button to wipe cache. Once done, reboot system will automatically be highlighted, just press power to reboot and you're done.

Wiping Cache won't reset the Battery's "memory". A Factory Reset will.

Working fine here too. Also did a cache wipe and no issues. Smooth.

The only issue that I am aware of is Mobile HotSpot, may not be working, and as far as I know, only one other person has observed that it is not working for them either. Error logs have been sent to Samsung. I've heard that there may also be a pixel shift issue, which has been reported elsewhere as well.

I'm pretty sure that Samsung is working on any required fixes, and will likely be included in the next update.

None of the other concerns you mentioned, have been noticed on my S23 Ultra...

If Mobile HotSpot is important to you, then maybe hold off, but other than that, I wouldn't hesitate to update.

I don't have any issues anymore after wiped cache partition by following Tallman's tips once I posted "One UI 6 consumes more power than One UIb5"

Well, I have the S22Ultra, according to Rogers, I'll be getting the update tomorrow 🤷🏽‍♂️
What I will do is that, a wipe cache partition right after the update to see if it's good, just in case. And then, I'll let you know guys if it works ✌🏽

I'll give my opinion and experiences what I've been having.

To start off when I initially downloaded (firmware) ran it for a few days and didn't experience any issues with certain apps (my daily ones) after a few days I noticed certain apps are crashing and freezing the phone where I'd have to manually close anything running in the background.

My opinion this is on the app devs to update their apps for compatibility.
Due to the fact that all my other apps work fine that have been updated around the same time I installed the new firmware.
Patients for now I guess but overall very nice update.
