SAMSUNG & CITI BANK ARE BY FAR THE WORST I'VE EVER WORKING WITH WHEN IT COMES TO REFUNDS. MY WASHER HAD A DEFECT IN IT NOT EVEN 1 MONTH INTO OWNING THE PRODUCT. I CONTACTED SAMSUNG & GOT APPROVED FOR A REFUND THEY SENT ME A LINK FROM CITI BANK STATING TO CHOSE A PAYMENT METHOD. I CHOOSE ZELLE THEY SAID IT WAS REJECTED NEXT I CHOOSE DD THAT WAS REJECTED. NOW I SELECTED CHECK BECAUSE AT THIS POINT IT EVERY FORM OF PAYMENT I PICKED DOESN'T WORK. I FEEL LIKE THIS A SCAM AND I AM 2 SECONDS AWAY FROM FILING A LAWSUIT AGAINST CITI BANK & SAMSUNG.

Have you reached back to Samsung and advised them that the refund link does not work?

Okay so when you call them and tell them the refund link does not work, what do they suggest?
I'm sure it's not "try again later, have a nice day...."

Probably escalate.. by email...their appliance customer service is way worse than the phones! Been there..

I am currently having the same problem. I got approved for a refund after they failed to fix my refrigerator. I chose zelle, they said it was rejected. I later chose PayPal, and it said there was an *exception* so they never sent the money. Now it’s been over a week since I chose DD and still nothing. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with a refund or company for that matter. Every time I call to get a resolution, they tell me something different and at this point I’m also starting to think that this is a scam.

I’m going through a similar nightmare! I have never experienced anything like this. I have been dealing with my situation for 6 months! I had a defective tv. Took forever to go through the warranty process but finally the offered to replace it. Took another month to hear back that they don’t have that model available so they offered to give me a higher model. Ok fine, then they ship that out to the local delivery company and I guess it shows up damaged so the delivery company says call Samsung again for next steps. I do that and it takes another couple of weeks for them to say we are just going to offer you a full refund. I paid $5400 for this tv and haven’t been able to use it for a long time. It has now been 2 months since the refund was approved and over 1 month since they came and took the defective tv away. They have told me that I’ll be receiving a Citi bank link to choose my payment option in “1-3 business days” for over a month now! Reading this tells me I’m just getting started and if I ever do get this link that it might not even work! I call once a week and go through an almost identical conversation. It honestly feels like a total scam and that they are simply lying to me. I’m at a complete loss for that to do.
