First I was able to see who has sent me a text message when my screen was off. My lock screen content is not hide. But after updating the phone, I'm facing an issue particularly in text message app. Now if the screen is off and someone will text me, all I'm getting is just text message icon (it isn't showing who has sent me a message).
Just icon is displayed. Again my lock screen content is not hide. It was working fine before. In addition to that, first in the conversation in text message was showing blue (chat mode), but now its in green color. Can anyone help me with this please?
Try going to settings, then lockscreen, then tapping notifications. In the lockscreen notification settings there is an option labeled view style that will change the look of notifications from icons to a classic detailed notification

The screen is popping up but it is not showing whose message is that, its just showing text message icon only.
As answered by @JohnH you can control how notifications are shown on the lock screen in "View Style" in which you can choose from Icons only, or Detailed, which shows information about the notification.

are you talking about edge lighting? when edge lighting is on only the icon and a small aboit of text is visible when you get notifications, and only the icon shows when your phone is locked if I remember correctly.
Try turning off edge lighting and see if that helps?
Happy Friday All! When you are in the notification and you have tapped detailed view, you then enter a page, scroll down a bit and make sure the next box/thingy is turned on
