Seems Rogers support this feature. Could not find any official information about that on their website.

HD Voice and Ultra HD Voice (EVS, HD+) allow you to use a wider band to make calls, thus allowing for better quality audio.

HD Voice is limited to 50-7000Hz, while carrying double the bitrate, compared to AMR Wideband, tech used for better quality 3G calls.

And HD+ Voice... You have CD Quality sampling with up to 48KHz sample rate.

The clarity of our call was excellent. Surprisingly good for a phone call

You need a compatible carrier with a compatible device. And your caller must also meet those requirements.
(Tested with W Note9 + W S9, both on Pie)

Didn't notice earlier. Enabled with Pie?

If it was only up to me, you wouldn't be there asking that. That feature would be there since eons.

But nothing has changed since then. Anybody feels like throwing a "lead" to CBC Marketplace? That ought to make a change.
Because look at the CRTC. It's only NOW, after a decade or so, that they think carriers are using deceptive practices against customers.
