My Galaxy Smart Tag battery had already run out, after just 4 months of owning the device. Is there any way to replace the battery? Or would I have to purchase a whole new device?

Yes, you can replace the battery in your Galaxy SmartTag! The battery is a CR2032 coin cell battery, and it's easy to replace. Please follow the steps provided by Ray1 in the above screenshot. Once you've replaced the battery, your SmartTag should be good to go!
