Ok so I am gonna say it. After the February update on the S23 Ultra, I have noticed serious battery drain. The issue is the S23 Ultra is not my main phone so I dont use it that often. Previously it could be there for 2 days before running outta juice since I dont use it that much.

Now, it doesn,t even last a day with little to no usage. After the update, Device Care informed me that MS Word was over using my battery and I uninstalled it. I don't even have much apps installed.

Something must be off with this update. Has anyone noticed same experience?

Go to Settings > Battery & Scroll down to see which apps in Battery Activity are draining your battery. Put unused apps to sleep, and Restrict or Optimize the ones that are draining it.

No Battery issues with my S23 Ultra since the February Security Patch OTA.

7 & a half hours on Battery. More than 2 hours of Internet usage & more than 3 & a half hours of SOT.

I don't have an issue neither.
@mickinetsystems , please try repartitioning caches.

I think that you mean "Clearing Cache", or Wipe the Cache partition.

Repartition generally means to redistribute data.

This worked for me. I put a couple of apps to sleep and uninstalled some unused ones. Now the battery life has improved

Doesn't help.

Many are complaining online I think Samsung is pulling an apple and purposely making the battery die to force upgrades.

Going into battery usage, highest was YouTube at 5%

Adding up all the usage and up to 20% but 90% had been used.

Which means 70% unknown usage.

If you have an S23 series.. Samsung is absolutely NOT "pulling an Apple"!

First of all, what Apple did was with older devices, not the previous year's Flagship.

I've posted a bunch of times, with screen shots showing the excellent battery life on my S23 Ultra One UI V6.1.

I've given a number of suggestions, on what I do with my device.. I'm not going to repeat them again.

There's nothing wrong with the update as far as the battery is concerned!
