Samsung, stop removing features!

On the watch 3 (Tizen OS), I used to be able to toggle on and off whether I want to receive notifications on my watch when I'm wearing it or not.

Now with the watch 4 (Wear OS), that toggle is gone. Under notifications, it says that I'll only receive notifications while I'm wearing my watch.

Well guess what? Your sensor isn't doing a good job because even while I'm wearing the watch, it reads as though I'm not wearing it!

I've noticed the same issue with locking the watch. It says it'll stay unlocked as long as I'm wearing it. A quick flick back and forth of my wrist and it's locked! 🤦

I'm always wearing my watch snuggly too. It's never loose. Do I need to wear tight to the point that I stop my blood circulation for it to work properly?

So far I'm not impressed with this watch... hardware wise and looks are top notch. But software is half baked with so many things missing/removed...

Its a new Os. I would definitely give it some time for Samsung and google to implement more features.

Yes, for sure. I'm still giving it a chance and I'm hoping that future updates will add more features and refine some things.

But I think we can still all agree on the point that they shouldn't be removing features though.

I agree 100% tizen was much better and easier to use. Time will tell.

The watch is beautiful, but the battery life SUUUUUUUUUUCCCKKKKKSSSSSSS. Seriously, how are people ok with maybe a day of battery life? My Galaxy Watch (original) still lasts 3 days on a charge.

Yup... the rumors are now confirmed that Wear OS just drains the battery life of the wearable.

Hey Deeezzyyy, can you tell how many hours the watch can last? Are you just use normally? Sounds like it won’t survive if go hiking with GPS tracking on. 😕

It will survive a hike. I actually used it all week hiking, biking, and kayaking. I will survive one, maybe two workouts... depending on length.

Yes it does tell you how long it will last. I took mine off the charger at 8am this morning.

Is that the digital dashboard watch face? Seems like you have some extra stuff I can't seem to set up on mine lol

It's the "Health Dashboard*" everything you see is default. The only setting I can change is colour palette and there are only three to choose from.
