Is anyone having issues getting notifications to work properly on their galaxy watch 4 Classic?

I pre ordered mine with the z fold 3 and it doesn't vibrate or have sound despite all the settings being on to enable sound/vibration. 

Is there an update I have to wait for?

If anyone has any help that would be great. I don't want to send the watch back to Samsung if it's a software issue...

Hi, Welcome to the Samsung Members Community Canada. Please check if bedtime mode for sleeping is activated on the device. Incoming calls will be muted and the screen will not turn on when receiving incoming calls. Also, all notifications will be muted, except for alarms, and the screen will not turn on when notifications are received.

Hi Georgine,

I turn bedtime mode off on the watch when I wake up. Also checked theatre mode do not disturb was off. I get phone calls but not text messages for some reason... It doesn't show it in the wearables app by app settings so now sure what's going on

Hi JRadL,

If you open Wearable app → click Watch Settings → Notifications

My GW3 doesn't have app settings, so the notification settings looks fine to me.

I am not sure for that. But if you have a chance, backup your watch data and reset your watch.

After watch reset, do not restore your old data, try message your phone and see if watch receive message.

Lol I've done that too. I think I'm gonna do a reset on the phone and watch this time and see what happens. I'll keep you guys posted
