My right earbud shows an orange exclamation mark in the wearable app. I've tried cleaning the contacts, charging overnight, disconnecting from bluetooth, and reinstalled the wearable app, but only the right earbud is working. I also noticed that it won't fully charge, it stays on red light when charhing on yje dock.

Hi Rajs,

Welcome to the Samsung Members Community Canada.

Please restart the buds: Insert the earbuds into the charging case, and then close the lid. Wait 7 seconds or more, and then remove the earbuds from the case.

Also, Reset the buds by following the below settings:

First, navigate to and open the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone >> Tap About earbuds >> Tap Reset earbuds, and then tap Reset to confirm. Note: By resetting the buds all of the settings will return to their defaults.
- Please make sure that the Galaxy wearable app is updated to the latest version. be sure to clean and dry the inside of each ear thoroughly. You should only wear the earbuds in dry conditions, and they should be clean before placing them in a charging case.

- If your Galaxy Buds are not charging or turning on, the issue may be with the earbuds or the charging case. Using a non-Samsung approved charger may cause charging malfunctions; it's also possible that the earbuds may be damaged. You can try fully charging the case, checking the earbuds for damage, or restarting the earbuds.

- When charging, be sure to use the included USB cable and a Samsung-approved wall adapter (sold separately). Alternatively, the earbuds are compatible with select Samsung Qi-compatible wireless charging pads or phones using Power Share.

- Keep in mind, the earbuds may not charge or properly charge if the earbud tips or wingtips are not attached correctly.

- The location of the flashing red light indicates if the earbuds or the charging case are not charging correctly. If external power is cut off, the red light will flash. If the indicator lights are not functioning, try disconnecting and then reconnecting the charger from the case. Then, charge the case for at least 10 minutes.

- Inspect the charger and case for damage if the earbuds or case are still not charging. Damaged earbuds will not charge. However, if one earbud is damaged, the other earbud will continue to charge.

Get back to us with the result.

Hi Rajs,

Once try to connect your Buds to another phone, if available and check.

If the charging case or the earbud(s) will not charge after troubleshooting, and the earbuds, charger(Case), or wall adapter aren't damaged, service is required.

Please get back us on live chat support with the model number of the Buds available on the rear side of the case. so that we can help you accordingly.

i hate when that happens. it happened to me so many times. i went as far as having to send it back to Samsung to fix it. but, i think i can help. below the ear cushion thing, it has 3 circle things. two of them are for charging and the other one i have no idea about. try cleaning the 3 circle things and wait about a day. if that doesnt work, go to samsung help and the robot things will assist u and tell you the process u need to take. sometimes it is just a "faulty unit"

its probably the battery, if they're out if warranty then just YouTube them tear down. they pull apart super easy and probably can be fixed yourself.

I lost my case for mine and bought a knock of because you can't get the replacements... they don't fit perfect so I have to take the rubber piece (size adjustment) off for them to charge.
you can try lightly scuffing the copper with fine sandpaper too help connectivity with the charging posts.
