A50 crash - L2TP/IPSEC VPN

I've been trying to get my L2TP/IPSEC PSK type VPN connection setup. It seems everything is configured correctly, the phone says it connected and server logs show the connection was made.

Problem is after 60 seconds the phone reboots.

Anyone have this type of VPN connection working? 

I have tried on two A50's and both reboot after 60 seconds.

i think asking your vpn provider about this problem might be your best bet

Thanks Ray2. Only the A50 crashes. other device, laptop etc work fine.

I am having no problems but I am not using L2TP on my Asus router.
I still think your vpn provider might be best for an answer

Hi Ray. We are the VPN provider. I do appreciate the advice. I am still really interested in hearing if someone does succeed in using VPN profile for L2TP/IPSEC with a pre-shared key with the A50 phone.

I guess that makes it a little hard for you to ask your vpn provider about this problem😂😂

Hi gdskelly, did an internet search a bit. Seems to be L2PT VPN having problem only on A50. I have 2 suggestions for you.

1. Submit an error report to Samsung by using this Samsung Members app. Therefore Samsung able to fix this problem ASAP.

2. One of your post said that you host your VPN server yourself. Use PPTP VPN instead for now.
