AOD and other features missing in a15

I tried to get always on display but its not an option in settings also it dosent let me install goodlock on the galaxy a15 is it because its an A series?

Yeah, I believe that the A15 is running One UI Core, and it doesn't support GoodLock.

When i see software on my a15, it's saying it's running oneui 6.1

Actually, it isn't running One UI Core, but it doesn't support Always On Display.

From GSM Arena:

"Finally, the phone boots Android 14 with One UI 6. And while you will not find DeX support or Always-On Display, this is not a One UI Core version."

You should still be able to install GoodLock though. 

If it's not available to you from the Galaxy Store, you could try apk mirror.

Maybe the AOD and others will be added in future updates like in oneui 7

Depends on whether it's a hardware limitation or software.. but I'm thinking that it's hardware, otherwise it would be there now.

AOD is on the a25, and they both have an amoled display. i think its software, samsung wants you to buy a higher end phone for them fancy features

The Display isn't the reason, it's more likely to be the chipset in the A15 isn't as advanced as the Exynos chipset in the A25.

Yeah, the chipset might be too slow to do multiple tasks together, probably why some of these "flagshippy" features are not on thier low end models

Yes, the Samsung Galaxy A15 has some limitations when compared to higher-end models like the other series.

As for Good Lock, unfortunately, there isn’t a direct workaround if it's blocked for your device. However, you can still try using some third-party customization apps or explore Samsung Themes for some level of UI customization.

For full Good Lock support or AOD, you might have to consider a device in a higher tier like the A50 series and up, or the S series.
