Is it possible to recover notes after mistakenly doing a factory reset? I did not back up my notes anywhere. The phone is a galaxy a20

Sorry to hear that. If no backup, there is no way to recover after factory reset.

Welcome to the Samsung Members Canada. Unfortunately, If you do not have a backup. Then it is Impossible to get your notes back.

There is no possible way of recovering that. Always keep sync option with samsung cloud on in samsung note. Always helpful.

thank you, the sync option was on and still can't locate them. i also did the smartswitch prior to reset but can't locate the notes on new phone. i had assumed they moved over.

Hi Pleblanc,

Once check if you have a backup on Samsung Cloud, Then restoring your data is simple. You can transfer it to a new or different device using the Restore feature. Follow the below steps:
Open Settings >> Tap Accounts and backup >> Tap Backup and restore >> Tap Restore data, select your desired device, and then select the content you want to restore(Eg: Notes, Contacts, Images, Videos etc.) >> Tap Next >> Tap Restore. If needed, follow the on-screen instructions to download your backup data.
