I just got the new update to one ui 5. It is a great update, I am loving the wallpaper and lock screen customizations. In the widget section I can't see the Smart Suggestion widget. This is the widget that recommends apps for you to use. Does anyone know why I can't see it? It's not too big of a deal I'm just wondering. Thanks

Well, really you are not missing much. As I said I have it Toggled OFF.

Besides, I don't really need, or want Samsung making any suggestions about how I use my device ☺️

Turn on your customization services it's available on all devices with the new update

Customization Services doesn't have anything to do with Smart Suggestions.

Customization Services is Off & hasn't been granted any permissions on my device, but Smart Suggestions is still in Advanced Options.

You are missing what I said.

You don't need to have Customization Services enabled, in order to see Smart Suggestions available in Settings > Advanced Options.

The screen shot you posted, is making a selection of what apps you want to have included in Customization Services, not whether or not you have Smart Suggestions available in Settings > Advanced Options.

As I said, I do NOT have Customization Services enabled, but Smart Suggestions is still in Advanced Options.

Sorry incase trying to say turn it off! Seriously and truthfully just seen the notice reply brief. I never read your whole reply

Sorry that was rude of me.

There's soo much data mining and analytical **bleep** from apps for companies that it's literally unavoidable and once one updates all the permissions get switched regardless.
Again sorry about the last response.

Well privacy / data mining is precisely why I don't have Customization Services, Suggestions enabled.

Although it's likely to be a futile, "that ship has sailed" effort with respect to privacy, I'm certainly not interested, in eagerly giving Tech companies more information than what they already have & get anyway.

Of course I know that there's still tons of "personal use" info that Samsung / Google etc get from location to sleep time, even our O² & weight information lol.
