Power off phone

I just discovered I cant power off my A54 samsung phone. The power button wont give me that option

Hmm?? These are the power buttons that I have on my Galaxy Z Flip 4. When you are trying to power your phone off, do you press and hold the side main power button until you get the following button display? Then if you do, just tap power off and the phone should shut off.

Not sure if your device has these options, but Search for "Power" or "Side Key" in Settings. 

It's possible that if you have options for the side key (aka Power Button), that yours is set to Wake Bixby & not Give you the Power Menu.

Try pressing the power button and volume down at the same time for about 3 seconds

Pressing both at the same time, will just Reboot the device.

I have tab s7fe and a a52, both units . Both devices turn off using the power and volume down

If you Press & hold the Power & Volume DOWN buttons simultaneously & briefly, you will get this. 

If Press & HOLD the Power & Volume DOWN buttons simultaneously & for a few seconds, the device will Reboot... That's how it's designed.

"If your device is frozen and unresponsive, press and hold the Power button and the Volume down button down simultaneously for more than 7 seconds to restart it. When your phone resets, you will feel it vibrate.
