Am I the only one having troubles with my galaxy A5 2017 since last week's update? for example, the camera freezes and stops as soon as I try the "pro" mode. Also, suddenly the dictionnary/auto-correct changes words automatically and doesn't recognize words that were fine before. I also had problems with the text messaging that sent before I finished writing. Is there a way to reverse to the previous version or solve this problem?

I usually recommend wiping your cache partition after any update especially large ones, it's been known to solve a lot of post update problems because the device holds onto outdated data which can cause problems.
The dictionary part may have just been an accidental reset of your saved preferences so it may need to re learn your typing style.
Certain applications also may need an additional update to work with the latest version so make sure to check if everything is up to date in the Galaxy Apps store and the Play store.
Wiping Cache Partition won't put any of your personal data at risk, you will have to enter the Android Recovery Mode, you can find the link to instructions below:
https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-28028 (instructions are for S7 but will be the same process)

Hey @CaroRichard , thanks for bringing this to our attention. To help us troubleshoot, could you please submit a device error log right after your camera freezes after going into pro mode? From the Samsung Members application, tap the “Feedback” icon. Tap the Pen icon and then submit an “Error report”. In the meantime, could you perhaps try a soft reset to see if that will help?

problem solved! Solution was to go directly erase the cache of the camera... parameters --> applications --> more (3 dots up right) --> system applications --> camera --> stockage
then erase the cache AND data... (cache only didn't) work.
Also, the customer service asked me to force "shutdown" of the application right after erasing cache and data.
Then I restarted the phone... and MIRACLE! It works!!!
