Galaxy AYeah, top left usually means that it's a Notification coming from an app, as opposed to a System Notification which is normally on the right side of the Status Bar.
What are you doing with Norton anyways?
You really don't need any "antivirus" software on Android.

Galaxy AFor a Windows machine, I'm happy with Microsoft's antivirus, and Windows is quite different from Android, and is potentially more susceptible to viruses, So North on y pc, sure.
As for Android, I've never used any so called antivirus apps, and I've done a lot of testing for developers on a Rooted device, which is probably the most potentially vulnerable device. I have never had any viruses on Android.
Personally I wouldn't waste the resources on any antivirus software on Android.
