It all depends on your usage and what you want a phone for. Because honestly, flagship phones or even mid range phones nowadays are strong and fast enough for anything day-to-day usage wise.

Unless you're a ha..rd co..re gamer or want the best photography hardware or something, then yeah, you go for the latest.

Since you're from a Note 9, anything you choose, you'll see a lot of upgrades, whether you go for a Note 22 Ultra or even just a Note 20 Ultra. If you don't need S pen, you can even go for the S series.

Personally, I've always upgraded everytime a device came out because I always wanted the latest and all, but the upgrades are minimal from one device to another.

I think they'll never bring back the headphone jack now since they want to push consumers to buy their buds or adapters.

As for the SD card, I don't think it's gonna be brought back either because they can sell higher storage phones for more money. They even have USB adapters with memory cards now for phones. And they push people to use the cloud storages/ Microsoft onedrive since they partnered with them.

If the SD card is something you really want to keep. Then you can go with a Note 20 Ultra. That device is still really good.

I always liked when they gave out more cloud storage with one drive, years ago I believe if you had a Samsung account you got 100gb storage

Even the question of Samsung's Cloud storage isn't very clear. In some places, Samsung says that it is discontinuing Samsung Cloud & Moderators are saying that you can still use it one post, and then saying to use One Drive.

Even Samsung's websites have different information...
