Hi lindaluf2020, take a look at this post in this forum.

If you are on Rogers network, you can't buy extra storage.

What? S Cloud paid storage expansion was never available in Canada. Rogers, SaskTel, Public Mobile or Northwestel...

Depending on how much storage you need, you might want to look at 3rd party options. Samsung seems to be working closer with Microsoft in this regard, so if you want to hedge bets with integration you might want to check out their options. That said, integration is good with other suppliers as well, such as Google etc.

Myself I pay the Microsoft sub monthly and you get 1tb per user and up to 5 users. In addition, you also get their Office programs(word, excel etc) for all of your family members.

one drive works well mobile and pc.... you'll also noticed that samsung just switched their photo gallery storage to onedrive (or at least are pushing their customers to do so). I'm quite sure you'll see other integrations down the line. Also works with Samsungs file storage mgr.

Don't bother with the Samsung Gallery integration with OneDrive. It's a downgrade. You can't sync SD card gallery to OneDrive after the integration. And it disables the OneDrive camera upload feature completely. What's the difference? Well, OneDrive camera upload backs up both internal AND external SD media. Unlike the integration's internal sync only (no external SD support).

Hi Lindaluf2020,

Samsung Cloud is being decommissioned as we migrate to Microsoft OneDrive. Depending on the users device they will be able to sync directly to OneDirve and link their Samsung Account with their OneDrive account to better manage cloud storage.

unfortunately, Currently there is no option to buy additional storage on Samsung cloud.

Cheers,

Kevin Taylor
