When I inserted the Telus sim into my Note 10+ which I purchased from Samsung Canada, it installed the Telus settings and bloatware. Telus does not support RCS chat on the native Samsung Messages app, but Bell does. I can get RCS chat working with Android Messages, but I prefer the Samsung app. If I change my CSC from Telus to Bell (I know it will wipe my phone) will I then be able to use the Bell supported features? Here in Nova Scotia Telus uses Bell's towers and frequencies anyway, so is there any downside to this?

I believe someone has done this already and it worked, hopefully he sees this thread and will answer.. but downsides, honestly to me there isn't really any. all Canadian carriers seem to release the updates pretty much the same time

No sir. You can't change the network settings the Sim card does that magic. You would have to change over to bell to get the said features.

Only if you now have a Bell SIM and are on the Bell network, otherwise most likely not.
