Update: The setup went away, but I still cannot update or download any apps.

I noticed today I wasn't able to download any new apps. I did all the suggested things like clear the cache, clear the data, force stop, disable/enable, restart and then finally did the uninstall updates. Now the Google Play Store is stuck on "completing set up installed 0/1 applications". I've tried all the above suggestions again and nothing is working. Can anyone help me?

Off hand, it sounds like a connectivity issue.

Did you check your WiFi / Cell Data connections?

You could always try resetting your network connections (you need to KNOW your passwords BEFORE you reset your network connections.

Try that & see if it helps 🤞

Thanks, I think you are right because I turned the wifi off and was able to download a new app. Tried disconnecting and forgetting my wifi and then reconnecting but that's not working. Might try reboot the router next. I am using a new phone and never had this issue before.

Yeah since you had already tried the correct steps to resolve the issue, really the only thing left was a connectivity problem.

It's always possible that it's not you either, occasionally there's a network failure with one or more Carriers.

There's a few websites (a little irony here) where you can check to see if there's a network outage.

One is Downdetector but there's others too.

So would the problem still be connectivity if the wifi is working for everything else? Like I can still access Facebook, the internet and other socials no problem. It's simply just downloading or updating apps. My work computer is also hooked up to my home internet and is having no issues. I'm in SK so my internet is through Sasktel as is my phone data.

Maybe also try to wipe cache partition? It might fix something.

Next time, you can try to check update for Google Play in Settings/security ?/ Google Play update like in the French picture. Screenshot_20211003-001444_Settings_46213.jpg

Hi. I am facing exactly the same problem as you. My wife also has a S10 Plus and is having the same problem after the update that we got last week. Most interestingly I am also in SK, using Sasktel as ISP. That brings me a question if the problem is not something crazy with Sasktel afterall

I'm still having the same problem. I have tried every thing I can find online except factory resetting because I really don't want to do that. I can still update/download when I turn wifi off but that's it!
