Why is this update 1.2Gb? Must be some huge security vulnerability being fixed.

None of my user installed apps are hidden, none of them. 

I use Nova Launcher & they are all visible & searchable in the app drawer.

Also they are all searchable using Samsung's Launcher as well

Same as RedDogRabbit too, none of my user apps are hidden. I use Samsung stock launcher.

Unless you have apps hided from Home screen. You can check out Home screen settings --> hide apps. Make sure your apps are not hidden.

then go hide an app, use search to find and come back.

Ok, so hide it and you cannot search it. I see.

this is how I keep my app drawer clean, by hiding them so it's faster to locate the apps I use most. This update prevents me from doing that now.
