There appears to be a world wide issue concerning this on the S8/S8+/Note 8 devices.
It doesn't seem to affect every device but it is an ongoing issue. It's also not a service carrier problem as it stretches across all carriers.

Hello
I have the same problem with my S8+ and the reply from Samsung was to wipe the cach and try again. I wiped the cach a few times and factory reset the phone and still have problems. Informed Samsung that I had tried their fix and it did not work. The last reply was to send my phone in for service. This response from Samsung really seemed like no one else in the world has this problem. Is there a problem with Samsung.

The worst thing was in an emergency my husband had to go into to hospital and I received a few updates on how he is is but the most important update. So not happy with Samsung right now.

Samsung seems not to care about this issue as they say nothing is wrong

It's Samsung bloat messenger that's the issue

what's bloat messenger? I've tried going into settings/battery/ sleeping apps and removed messages from there then added messages into unmonitored apps...
