I had android 13 update couple of weeks ago but sadly i've faced problem with my accelerometer after the update. the phone shows the wrong orientation. when i hold the phone horizontally, the screen rotates into landscape and viceversa. restarting the phone solve the problem temprorily but it comes back again after 3 or 4 days.

Unfortunately reset factory didn't solve the problem. It is really annoying

I had the same issue with the accelerometer sensor; it seems 90° tilted after an update but I just got a new update to my Galaxy note 20 4G. And it seems my problem is solved. Update your phones to the new January security patch.

i.e. N980FXXS5GWA/N980FOXM5GVJE/N980FXXU5GVJEV

I have the kinda the same issue on my S20 fe after the update in Januari, when I turn my screen to the side it will flip 180° so that the content on my screen is upside down. I recallibreded several times, reset my phone, restart it and thif fixes it for almost a day and then the issue is back. I hoped the last update a week or two ago would fix it but the same problem. Samsung realy has to fix it.... I don't dare to buy a new premium phone from more than €500 to risk the same issue

Does it matter I'm from the EU? I have the same problem so I don't see the issue

I have exactly the same problem with my Samsung Note 20 Ultra after the update. When on autorotate the screen keeps rotating sideways. Only solution is to let it rotate  to the desired orientation and then lock screen rotation.

It took me some time to find a thread about it, since it is not exactly easy to word the problem correctly, so I guess there are many more cases with this problem out there.

When going into phone diagnostics I can see x and y values are flipped. Samsung, please help!

I have the same issue on my Ultra s23. I need badly a fix asap. I can't work from my phone and got alot of phone vidéo meeting for my job. Accelerometer got the "image flip test (dog)" failed.

It's been more than 4 days now since i've updated it and wont work rotating at any moment. Even if I unlock/lock the option.

help plz
