Great news guys! My rebate arrived today for my Note 8. If you haven't received yours yet, it should be coming soon! I'm really not sure what to get. I was thinking I'd get a Gear 360, but my wife got me one for Christmas. so many options.
tempting! I just upgraded from the Gear Fit2 to the Gear Fit2 Pro. It kind of burns me that the Gear VR is just barely too small for the Note 8, so I put the money down on the updated Gear VR. I hesitated, but I've been using my S7 Edge specifically for VR (I didn't sell it in case of another dreaded recall!). Time to bring everything together, then let my daughter go crazy with the S7 Edge, I think.
Yes and no. I did have the Note 7, and had pre-ordered the Note 8. But there were other ways to be eligible as well. it wasn't just given to people who had and lost a Note 7, but stuck around for Note 8.
