Note10+ Night Mode Deep Black issue

Hello,

Has anyone noticed that when the phone is in Night Mode, when you pull the notification panel and see the large area on the top where the time is if you are in a dark room you notice that area is not showing deep blacks but rather greyish color? I notice this under the notification panel, settings and any other samsung apps. I have been comparing it with my now old S9+ and the S9+ shows perfect deep blacks.

not sure if this is a defect on the note10+.

I only notice it in the settings menu when slowly scrolling the brightness from left to right by a few mm's. To get the darkest grey the slider has to be slightly to the right, if its all teh way to the left the grey is noticibly lighter.

Are you talking about this ? Because for me it's a deep black...I erase my WIFI name with black and erase name look gray when you enlarge the picture

hi @Cassidy yes to the top are of the display specially the whole area before the icons of settings and power icons. I can see there is some light coming from the top of the display making it look like a gray color I can see the hole camera black and surroundings a bit gray. on my s9+ all the top area is pitch black

he is probably talking about the notifications. They are dark grey. But this is for everyone on OneUI.

Omg Shaggyskunk1 I need this but I haven't turned on my computer for months bc this shhh cuts, chops and destroys the cake for me 🙃

yeah the notification bubbles are dark grey but I'm referring to the background on the top area it should be pitch black but I see sort of light coming from the top of the display. even on dark scenes on Netflix or youtube the blacks are not really blacks.
